A new report from New York City has found that many of the city’s most iconic elevators—the Kone and the One World Trade Center—are among the citys highest-spending types of cars.
A study from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found that the average car that was driven in the city last year made $1,700 more than the average SUV.
The report is part of a wider trend: Many new high-end luxury cars are made with less energy efficiency than the rest of the market.
So it’s a little bit of a win-win.
